any ams-500 users on here? i am about to wire one in and want ideas of how you triggered it.

i was thinking off the trans brake, using ground. and also a way to use it as a 3 stage.

You need to face the facts Anthony. No body runs run your high buck shit in here....We run craftmans air compressor regulators to control our boost..

That's a good read Dave,
It says to wire the stage one off the transbrake and stage 2 off a full throttle switch. Do you have a full throttle output on the fast system?
It didn't say anything about making it a three stage?

You trying to leave off the gate spring... Then have stage 1 kick in... Then have stage two kick in shortly after?

I am having my first stage on the line, and the second stage when I leave with it ramping at my preset rate.

With that being said, it will be triggerd off my trans brake switch.

I run a 1000, but we struggled with it all last year. We thought we were stupid, but found out this winter that the unit was actually defective. It's fixed now, so I'll post up what I think of it when we can actually try it out the right way.

And yes, the launch stage is triggered by the trans brake, and it goes to the next stage when the trans brake is released.
