I have an issue where my blower pulley (cog, if it matters) is out of alignment with my crank pulley. I don't want to chew up cog belts at $125 a piece.

I know there are pulley alignment tools (laser). Unfortunately they start at about $500.

Any low-tech suggestions on how to align the blower puller, idler pulley, and the crack pulley would be appreciated. If I could find the appropriate laser (line, not point) I might try to rig up a tool on my own.

Unfortunately, I should have done all of this when the motor was on the engine stand in my Dad's garage.

Thanks.

straight edge (steel rule, etc) works just fine.

There is a place in Indiana (Dynotech maybe?) that specializes in lining up pulleys. They did it for Torxilla and it stopped his belt shredding completely. Probably not super cheap though.

Is it driveable ? I can take a look at it and see what can be done with some basic machining.
