Just a friendly FYI... while the phone will function on T-Mobiles network, the 3G portion will not. AT&T and T-Mobile use 2 different frequencies for their high speed data.

For anyone who is interested in jailbreaking..... it is possible to make free outgoing and incoming calls (VOIP) with an iphone for a one time cost of $9.

To do this you need to have a google voice account, jailbreak the iphone, download siax pro, and set up a free account on gizmo5.com.

I have done this and the calls are crystal clear without a delay. I can make calls on the 3g network data network or when I am connected to wifi.

This should help the resale value of your phone!
