So, I have a Griffin rad. for an auto to go in my 5 speed. Are they supposed to go down into the channel at the bottom of the core support like the stocker? Mine doesn't, and just wanted to know if it should. All core supports are they same right?

ive got an 82 mustang with a griffin i made L BRACKETS AT THE BOTTOM TO HOLD IT UP TRY THAT

My griffin fits In the stock location In My 84 GT.
