that's what i said but my in-law swears up and down it's a 40th anniversary car:dunno: :screwy: so just to make em happy that's the way i posted it!

All cars made in said year are "anniversary" cars. to some people.

BUT in years when they offer a unique anniversary option, I would say that NO its doesn't qualify. but thats my opinion.

The unique option was the ruby red paint ;) But GM didn't make 2 owners manuals, and they were celebrating the 40th year of the Corvette, so they put "anniversary" all over everything.
