Right now those are you front runners of course the early front runners rarely make it.

Also according to recent polls Rudy would win.

Dem
1st Clinton
2nd Gore

Rep
1st Rudy
2nd McCain

Let's go Hilary:badass:

On the Republican Side I'm pulling for Mitt Romney

Thoughts?

Hillary? Ugh!

Not sure about Giuliani really. I don't know enough about where he stands on most issues. :dontknow:

Of the front-runners, I like McCain best. But he's still not my ideal candidate.

Meh... I'll almost certainly be voting for the Libertarian candidate again anyway. :dontknow:

Giuliani is the most likeable and moderate person on that list. Hillary is the best thing the Pubs could hope for.

I could see Rudy as President, and would definately vote for him over Hillary.

Rudy would intrigue me. Nothing on the democratic side would even remotely interest me. Not because I hate dems, but the two up there don't stand anywhere near where I want on issues.

Rudy is liberal enough on social issues and conservative enough of fiscal ones that I'd happily vote for him. If Hillary gets the nod from the Democratic party I'm going to run my membership card through the shredder.

You're an political extremist, I'm a realist. I vote for he who has the most level head and would likely do the job the best. Rudy was a great major for NY and he handled the 9/11 crisis better than anyone could have expected. I personally feel that he would be a very good US President...regardless of which political card he may carry.

I generally try to stay away from political debates both on this board and in real life, but ULUZ drives me fucking bonkers with every post he makes.

As I have mentioned before, the average person discussing politics with another average person is like two retards discussing quantum physics. Neither party has enough information to really hold any water in their arguement. Seriously, no matter how much one tries to research a certain political topic they are going to come up short. Why? Because our government feels that we don't need to know, nor should we know the whole truth to anything. So they regulate what is "leeked" out to us pee-ons.

What do we do with the tiny bit of info we have? Some of us take that bit of info we're given from one side, and another bit of info we're given from the other side, merge the two together, and use our own mind to come to a sensible conclusion as to what side we (for the most part) agree with and what side we (for the most part) don't agree with.

Theeeeeen you have the other percentage of people who take the tiny bit of info we're given from one party and they run with that info!!! Not only do they run with it, they find other people who have read the same info, who also have blinders on, they meet up, take the tiny bit of info they have, blow it up and make it extreme, pass that on to their friends make pictures and websites with this outrageous and biased info and hope that info is passed on as the TRUTH to what is going on in the world. This latter party would be the same group of people ULUZ belongs to...the political extremists who see their side, and only their side.

And for what it's worth, I hate Bush. I don't think Bush should be in office, or in between a woman's legs. Me = Anti-Bush. At the same time, I don't think Kerry was going to be our end-all cure-all either!

If it was between Rudy and Hillary straight up, that would be an easy calll. Rudy all the way. It's a no brainer.

Now if it was Rudy against Gore or hopefully someone better than Gore or Hillary, that would take more thought. I'd have to carefully weight were they stand on all the issues before making a decision. Even though I tend to lean more toward the Dems than Repubs, the Dems don't have anybody that wows me enough that I could say I would definitely vote for them if they got the party nod. That's the beauty of being an independant voter! :icon_mrgr

A country with our power and a women in charge. Nobody will take us serious anymore. Seriously, you think anyone in the middle east will even talk to that bitch? They hate women over there, lol. I see bad bad bad things happening very soon if that cunt get elected. Its bad enough women can vote and drive.

Rudy, Rudy, Rudy!!!!

**Yes, I realize he's a Republican**

too many skeletons in the closet...he is a moderate which is why the right will fight him...just like they did when they smeared McCain in 2k...

as far as the dems go...No to hillary...i want a Wesley Clark/Joe Biden ticket! you have a smart military man who actually served his country and a policy wonk who is nm expert in foreign relations! kind of the exact opposite as the tools we have in office right now! might be refreshing!!!

he is being an elitist snob who thinks the left/right coasters are beneath him because of their mostly liberal viewpoints. next thing we know he is going to break out that he lives in 'flyover country' or that he lives in the 'heartland'. these righties are too predictable :)
