Went to Southgate Lowes last night for some simple hardware stuff, 10x1.5 metric nuts for my car. All the signs are now bilingual Spanish. :pow: All the nuts and bolts signs on the drawers, every aisle.:bs:

Then I got this email today........

> Let's say I break into your house

> A lady wrote the best letter in the Editorials in ages!! It explains
things
> better than all the baloney you hear on TV.
>
> Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country
protesting
> the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal
> immigration.
>
> Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might
> make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay
> indefinitely. Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind
these

> Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in
> your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds

> According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add
me

benefits

is
> hard-working and honest, except for that breaking in part). If you try to

your

> It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and

> except for well, you know.
>
> And what a deal it is for me!! I live in your house, contributing only a

So which one of you guys is going to go pick all of the fruits and vegetables that are rotting on the vine/tree/bush out west and down south this year???

Because if my food prices go up because 30-40% this year's crops are dead in the field, I'm going to come looking for you guys and put you to work on a farm. I've had my 10 years for farming servitude so I'll opt out. :D

How long before we have the pricing whitch hunt for those gouging farmers??? :D

If school aged kids (12-17) would learn that it takes HARD WORK to get anywhere in life, maybethey'd be doing all these jobs that the Mexicants are taking?

I was working from the time i was 11 years old, started delivering papers. Kids today get everything handed to them. Make the motherfuckers work! :badass:

Last time I checked, the head counts needed to do the work greatly exceeded the kids living in rural areas. Most of the inner city kids can't get out to the farm to pick becuase they can't drive mom and dad's car or truck.

I'm all for manditory public service of 18-24 months between the ages of 16-20 years of age, but that's going to put a lot of road construction and public works folks out of work just the same as illegal workers does. Just imagine how smooth the roads would be though. :)
