Is long tube headers worth the pain in the ass installing them or sould i just run a shorty header for my 87 5.0 GT

all LT's are PITA's. But they will be worth it.

ya i put a set one my camaro ss and that sucked big time. any really big things to over come on fox bodies

I think the only problem is the steering linkage. Alot of people undo the driver side motor mount, jack it up and slide them in. I put LT's on a 02' Trans an and talk about a tight fit. WOW. If you don't want to jack up your engine I guess just undo the steering linkage and do that. I found a great deal on some shorties for my 351 so thats teh route i'm going. LT's later!

Long tubes!!!!
I had to undo the motor mounts and consequently the trans mount but I did it on my own and had no problems at all.. Definitely not as big of a pain in the ass as you think.

yea the older car you got it easy... try doing and newer one.. hmm 02 persay... and it will look like this just to put headers in

long tubes are worth it , get them coated!!!!!

yes will always get coated i dont like to do things cheap. so what are the best ones you guys have found for the fox bodies not finding too many choises for them and would like them to be emmisions legal tto because of the SES light really dont want to mess with it ill just run them.
