this may sound like a dumb question but can you use a solid roller cam in a non roller 351W block?

if you use conversion lifters from comp or crane the answer is yes.

yes and you don't need any conversion, just buy a solid roller cam, lifters, and hardened push rods, now if you have a non-roller block and want to change to hyd. roller then you need the conversion lifters or drill and tap block for spyder tray! Solid roller vs Hyd roller= solid roller FTW

you need lash, the cam card will come with the recommended valve lash, if you never did it before have somebody help you its very important..

Dave, what year block are you using for this 351W. I Know the one I Picked up from you is a 74' non roller as well, so a solid roller cam would be the best huh?
