Can we please set up some sort of guidlines or rules to follow when members post various things forsale in here and in Vehicle Sales Thread?

Lets start with 3 simple common since ones....

- Detailed discription of vehicle or item
- PRICE (wether it be asking price, OBO, FIRM price, whatever) I feel this is a MUST
- Location

Please share your thoughts on my suggestion. :dontknow:

Thank You Krazybones

No cause ive bought some good stuff from people that posted it on here who werent members or didnt have many posts. Thats why I think requiring them to put a contact number up would help.Agreed - If they post all the Pertanant or Required info, then it should not matter IMO. Keep the Ideas comming.....

And if you are looking to buy a car the seller MUST add the VIN with his/her post of the said car/truck/bike...(Kinda like what Xceed does.) and i know someone that has a carfax account and i may be able to get him to run the VIN for you guys.

I think a VIN can be giving with working between the potential buyer and seller. Lets start with the basics and this way it wont have to be police'd and keep it what it is ment to be or intended for! For for the love of Pete tell us a Price man.... :mmm:

I have had good luck with most people on here. If somebody does not post there # that is his problem. Send him a e-mail if he lists it. I just hate putting more rules on the board.. Maybe I have a old fender from a junk car and I say make me an offer. what is the big deal. If you get mad about that your life must be great if that is all you have to worry about.:icon_mrgr .

too many rules, leave it alone...

have a question about something thats for sale, just ask the seller.

Then you must be one of them that doesnt post a price.

If you are selling something and you know what it is worth to you then communicate it and post it. What is so hard about that? Save the aggravation from the start!!!

Rules are meant to be broken. You should have ran for MM Mod if you wanted change. Be quiet AbraCadabra!

Some pics and just a brief description would be cool.
For those who don't have there location in the profile i guess putting the location in the ad would be cool.
All i need is a price and a pic. I can PM the rest it doesn't bother me. For the right item/price I'll drive anywhere. Hell i drove 1 1/2 hrs for some ranger wheels from 82hatch.
BTW thanks for the wheels hatch :badass:

Price and location are a must.
Pics help sell stuff too but should be required.

What about "You must be a paid member to list items" I only say that because try to get an unlimited amount of ads per year for only $25.00, to me it sounds like a sore dick "You can't beat it"

I think that stuff is just common curteousy. If you don't include it, or write a good ad, then you probably won't sell much.

Do you guys really want more rules? In a month you guys will be calling me a nazi becuase I keep posting in threads to add stuff.

i think that's sounds like shit! why would i pay 25 dollars to post a for sale ad? I come on here more to bullshit with everyone, but i do sell a lot of parts and buy a lot of parts from here.Just make your ad with the typical info that is all

All I am asking for really is a price. It is just good business IMO and not listing one is a huge pet-peeve of mine...
