I have a 3.60 pulley on my supercharger and I have a 3.12 pulley and belt. Any rough idea's on how much the boost will go up? It is on a DOHC cobra with a SQ V-2-E trim.

Thats like 2 steps down in size, so prob like 4-6lbs more.

If the 3.60 is like 8-10psi then i'd think you'd see like 12-14psi or so.

We are only getting around 4.5 psi right now. I was thinking of getting a power pipe too before I change the pulley

with a 3.6 on mine I was seen about 9lbs, then I changed to a 3.4 and hit 13-14 psi

Only 4.5 psi? Does it have lower comp or a big bump in displacement?

It has low comp. ross pistons.

I know its not the same, but my 347 with 8.5:1 comp, with the s-trim & 3.00" pulley made 10-11psi.

I'd double check and make sure you're not getting slip.

Maybe I will try to find a 3.33 pulley to start with.

Wiat till you put the PP on. they tend to increase boost be a good chunk.

I have a 3.33 inch pulley for sale if you need one. BTW I have a 2.95in pulley on my car and it only make around 9PSI and it's a stock motor that's never been taken apart....well, until now.

you got a leak somwere or tons of belt slip 4.5 psi thats like a powerdyne blower there

Who just tuned your car? I think that the low compression is hurting my boost a little and I am ordering a power pipe Wed. I need to get rid of that crappy flex tube for the inlet.

No leaks, the motor is very sound and on the dyno did not see nothing that we thought was belt slip.

Nah, sorry it's an 8 rib pulley. Came with my VS-2 S-trim.

Walsh jr did it, picked it up today with offical numbers check the member rides all have a graph up soon. Could you have a really small leak around one of the pipes, spray some soapy water on the piping and see if it bubbles up. See what the power pipe does but you should have more boost then that the compresion diffrence might do 1psi no way it would change 4psi.

I put a power pipe on it sat. and it hit 7 pounds and I let off.

Cool do you have aftermarket rods iin that motor to if so why not run like 15-16psi or whatever wont over spin that blower

The guy that tuned it told me I should put a intercooler on it if I go above 8 pounds? It has billit h-beams, 04 cobra block and crank, and ross pistons. The blower is good to 22 pounds vortech said.

You dont need a intercooler over 8psi, I had 9psi on mine people run 15-20 without them, maybe a meth kit if you wanna be safe. Its a s trim blower right you will over spin it befor 22pounds but iam sure you could get 15 outa it perfectly fine.

It is a new E trim. Vortech told me that the E-trim is a T-trim case with SC inners. It is made for mod motor cars. As you can tell, I do not know much about mod motors. lol I have a friend with a 98 cobra helping me out. He was running 14#s with a s-trim and made 465 to the wheels. lasted 3 months then bent a rod. He has a built short block that is low compression now. He lost a couple pounds of boost and put 430 to the ground now with the same pulley's. That is the range I would like to be.

You should make that on 10=12 psi and a good tune, I got a huge blower and made my numbers at 9psi real safe tune and pump gas
