View Full Version : i need a turbo flange made, where can i go?
i just need a simple square basically the size of my hand cut out in like 1/4 of and inch steel and 5 holes drilled in it,
if anyone knows of a place near pontiac or close by give me the info asap!!!

not to be a smart ass but cut it your self. I have a scrap pile just for making misc crap. Get some card stock and make a template, then start drilling, cutting grinding...goto a rod iron fence place with the template...good luck sorry I could not help more, I'm downtown

hey man i'm only 20 i don't think a sawzall a cordless drill is gunna cut it

i already made a template out of little pieces of metal that i welded together but the metal is too thin to be used its maybe under a 1/8 of a in

those are the tools, do you have a bench grinder?? or a cut off tool/grinding disc??
Fence guys have the tools, the metal and wont charge you as much as a place that sells turbo stuff.

i think i'd need a drill press atleast for something this thick
no bench grinder, i think my friend has a angle grinder but i'd have to pick up some discs, forgot about that. i know that'd cut threw it
i don't know of any turbo shops around, i looked online but didn't find anything
the turbo is from a duramax diesel

Go with something a little thicker then 1/4". If not 1/2" at least 3/8". 1/4" will more than likely warp when welding. I bought mine from Jeff at Pony Down Performance. Real cool guy and he's in Warren.
