Mustang Cobra + Procharger=computer yuck

I need some help. My friend just put a procharger kit on his cobra and the chip provided did not work and fried his computer. I dont know squat about Fords so bear with me...He bought a predator tuner to store his stock tune which he got reloaded at the dealer and then when he tried to upload the procharger tune the computer goes nuts and shuts down, he told me he gets dashes in his odometer.


I NEED SOME HELP getting this thing on the road. I am pretty sure they put the hard part on correct, getting the wrong chip from the start has just turned this project into his car getting parked:pissed:

anyone have any ideas, places to start looking???
oh yea, after he has the stock computer running again, the car will run but like crap.

take it somewhere like Walsh and get it tuned, they will burn a chip and tune into the car, those off the shelf tuner's are kind of garbage unless you have a dyno to really see what the car is doing. Also I know some of the chips have the VIN attached to them so if you take it out and put it in a different car that may piss it off too.

I am not shooting for dyno numbers I just need it to run good. this car does not do much track time or racing just a driver.

I went to walsh your looking at 6-700 give him a call, its in Wixom, may car made 463whp at 6300rpm and 397ftlbs I take the car to 7000rpm it has 500 in it. Mine made it off the dyno in one piece with 134k on it never touched.

Its not that it makes it off he dyno, its how long it lasts off the dyno.
mine was tuned at about 12 to 15k miles and now has 105k, not a problem!!
