It would be pretty sweet if we had the option of not accepting rep points.

Only the green dots. I get alot of "You're Hot" or "I'd like to met you". To be truthful it's alittle scary.

Why eliminate it? Yours isn't high enough? I like sending little messages with my rep. It's fun. Plus I like getting "You're a goat fucker" and "You ate penis cake". They make my day.

It's also better then sending a PM. PM's are boring. Plus YOU can read the rep feedback and we both know some of it's about you :D

Rep is just another way to be an e-thug. You can't put it on ignore either, so if you're trying to avoid someone and you put them on ignore, you still get rep from them with nasty messages. What do you think happened with Lon? It just escalated to the point that he wanted to say something hurtful to Al.

It is one thing to just give a plus or minus, but people are using them to lauch passive aggressive personal attacks. If that is what it has come to, then we are better off without it.

My suggestion was to take the text out of it and just make it +/-. That would keep the e-thugging to a minimum. I wish we were getting rid of it. It sounds like you have some bad info there.

I was told the mods unanimously voted to eliminate the rep... :dontknow:

But if it stays... returning GREEN dots only is what I'm looking to do here. I'll keep my negative rep, I just want to return a few of the green dots. :)

It was voted on and voted to be eliminated, but then we started to do a discussion on it. We may inplement something new to eliminate the stupidity that seems to be prevalent at times involving rep. Beside. People like to point out rep as being something serious at times and not serious at other times. I would rather it be a true image of what the person is without all the bickering back and forth about who left me neg rep and said such and such.

You need a club id card for what exactly???

Adding a trader rating system isn't as easy as just clicking a button and making it appear. It's a modification to the vbulletin software that brandon manages and he's already working on a few different things right now to roll out all at once
