When the dust settles I should squeeze out about 25 more horses after replacing the single fuel pump with a Walbro double pumper set-up.
Then I'll be ready for spring!

With the Talon anyway.

The turbo'd mustang is slowly comming together.:rockwoot:

Pic of the car before I started the project, nothing special, hatch LX with 160,000 on in. Straight car, little rust on hatch lid, never wrecked few mods, headers, pro chamber exhaust, air filter and a boom box that took up the hole hatch, picked it up for 3K.
Slow 302 it was tired!

Sharp Talon. Man those small engine turbo cars sure have a funny power curve. It is making about 170hp/210tq at 4200rpms then it must scream like a rocket to redline.

Your car is just AWESOME! And I dig the look. Who would ever think it is that powerful?!:rockwoot:

BTW, if someone wanted to get into the DSM thing is it ever a good idea to buy a fast one already built? I see a quick race car on Ebay (white '92 Laser #250194283776) with lots of go. Are they too fussy at this level? Just want your 2 cents.

Find a local DSM club sight and look for owners who have not hacked the car up, I saw a real soild 1G with good parts and in better than normal shape sell for 4K.
