I need a key made for an 06 gran prix

My mother in law needs a key for her 06 gran prix, but the price at the dealership seems really high to me, does anyone have the hook up on them, also I think it has the chip and has to be programmed? Let me know what you can do for me. Thanks.

If it has to be programmed you have to have the tool to do it. That is why the dealer charges like it does. Call a locksmith & see what they say.

There was a locksmith in plymouth on main street that was pretty cheap last time I checked around (about 25$).. you usually need 2 good keys to program one without the high dealership price tag though

20-25 to program is typical and 4-6 a key.
