Probably a good idea. A friend of mine borrowed a gun (similar to the one you mentioned) from his cousin one outing this year, and he spent a good portion of the day trying to get gobs of paint (from broken balls) out of the internals of the gun, the barrel, etc. It wasn't fun for him.
