What is your best sixty foot with stock suspension style and no anti roll bar. I really want to put tailpipes back on the car this summer and the 12 passes I do all year doesn't justify turn downs and disconnecting the roll bar to drive around. I'm starting to think driving around with no sway bars isn't that smart either.
Please list suspension components and best sixty.
TIA

FWIW, you can get tailpipes to work with an anti-roll bar. You just need to have some made/ modified.

I have the UPR bar and I don't think it gives as much room as others. I had a y-pipe custom made for the turbo and the guy didn't even want to try it.

he is being lazy, anything is possible.
i went 1.2860ft without a anti roll bar. 1.27 with...just easier to control with the car not twisting

Todd Reiter can do it... and he is a UPR dealer so that's what he's used to dealing with. He is also a sponsor on here - Reiter's Metalcraft

Todd actually installed the UPR bar and my cage. When I asked him to do a OJ special on the tailpipes he gave me a look like it was't possible. Maybe I'll ask him again.

That's just crazy right there. The sway on that car must have been uncontrollable.

Thats a little rough for me John. I'm a big baby and I rarely touch the wheel the whole run.

it for sure better with a anti roll bar. but if it does get loose with one then it can get to be a handful. i ran my anti roll bar all the time, on the street everywhere, i got mine from teamz about 4 years ago and i cut it out of the old car and i put it in the new car.

I should just leave it connected but I was always afraid to break the ears off.
I might just put a big sway bar and a bag in it to cut high 1.4's. I'll be happy with that.

It's time consuming but can be done. Alot of segments and fitting.

I've been a few 1.19's and usually 1.22 but that was about 6 years ago, I havent been down a track in 3 years,
We also build an ARB for tail pipes, we dont stock them so it's a custom order and usually takes 3-5 days depending on my powder coater!

What was your set up when you ran 1.22's?
I'm still debating if I need the ARB.

Factory upper and lower arms just boxed them with some plate. Welded boxes and battle box kits, factory 4 cylinder springs with a "coil over" spring sllipped inside the pass. factory spring acting like a make shift bag. no- roll bar or sway bars front or rear.
1.37 60's on a 28" tire biggest problem is going straight the rear end actually gets pushed side to side cuz of the rubber bushings making it a PIA to go straight.

home made uppers and lowers and an anti roll bar, with Koni shocks and struts on a 28X10.5 tire!
