1984 mustang paint project

i just bought a 84 mustang and am about to paint it and cant decide what to do to it. we have decided we are going to do like a 2 tone fade, but cant decide where to fade and what colors.

im feeling like an electric blue and black combo?
maybe the front electric blue and fade to black in the back, or maybe do the rockers black and fade up to blue?

throw out some ideas, and maybe some pics if avaiable?

I do not like the front to back change. I like the top to bottom two tone alot better. Smooth has some pics of nice two tone cars that he painted.

I agree with Lightning Jeff on the front to back :spaz: As far as the top to bottom look, that could turn out pretty good.

im thinking on maybe leaving it a solid color,
maybe deep wedgewood blue......

fade = rice/mini truck/ old dude with too much money into a paintjob

IF, and I say IF you were to do a fade, it should be a dark color to a dark color so it doesnt scream out so bad. Maybe a black cherry to black, or a dark midnight blue to black. just my .02. Solid colors are probably a better choice.

still not sure which way i'm gonna do mine, red on top, silver on the bottom or all silver.

I think silver up top with a kinda bright green pin stripe to break the two colors up :shrug: I'd like to see it photoshopped before doing it though. Think a bit darker silver won't look as drastic also.
