the kit i purchased cam with a MPT-70 with the V band down pipe flange. well i found a great deal on a polished Turbonetics T72 that i could not pass up. thing is, the Vband on the turbo is about 1/16th to 1/8th smaller than the flange on the down pipe. should i

1: grind the down pipe V to fit the turbo?

2:attempt to find the other half of the turbo flange, and have it welded to the down pipe?

3: cut both off and just have new flanges welded to both?

the turbo's flange is 3 5/8"

#2 worked for me on my setup. ;) Except I cut my own flang to weld on so no need to look for one.
