86 FORD RANGER DAILY DRIVER

I PULLED THIS TRUCK OUT OF MY OLD MANS GARAGE. IT HAD BEEN SITTING THERE FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS WITH THE MOTOR HALF TOURN APART.IT TOOK ME ABOUT 2 YEARS TO TALK HIM OUT OF IT.BUT FINALY ITS IN MY HANDS. IT NOW SITS WITH 5.0L AND AOD TRANS OUT OF MY OLD LINCOLN MARK7. THIS WAS A BASE MODEL TRUCK THAT DIDNT EVEN COME WITH A RADIO. SO FAR SO GOOD IM GOING TO START ON THE COSMETICS THIS SUMMER. HOPEFULY THIS DOESNT DRAIN MY POCKETS TOO MUCH :seizure:

as for mods nothing special just a mild cam flow masters and a custom made drive shaft.

next on my list of things to do is to swap out the wimppy 7.5 for a 8.8 with a fms locker. also the truck has manual brakes and stearing, witch is getting changed to power assist. then ill start on its looks a nice paint job and a set of 17 in wheels and tires should do it.

That thing has got to be a blast to drive with a v8 in it! I'd love to build one.
