I just had a quick question on what all needs to be done on fitting a 28x10.5 tire under a 85 Mustang. I've been told that all I need to do is roll the quarter lips but then I've had some people say I need to trim the quarters to fit it.
Any help would be great!!!

Most common is the 15x8 with 5.5 backspace, the next is the 15x10 with 6.5 backspace.

with a 15x8 rim u just roll the quarter but with a 15x10 6.5 backspacing and a 28x10.5 slick you have to beat the inside with a hammer and roll the lips and soforth and on my uncles 82 hatchback he uses these wheel spacers

15x8 rim. I just talked to pacecarbbc and he is going to be doing the work for me when I'm ready.
Thanks for the help guys.

28X10.5 use a 15X10 with a 6.5 back space and a BFH to get it to fit,
or get it to hook with a 26X9 and not have to beat the crap out of the inner wheel well!
