Like the title says, I am looking for a gas-powered edger and I'd like it before Wednesday of next week.
Cash in hand!
What do ya got?

No, just trying to make my life easier. Lawn service...pfft, I barely have time to see scratch my ass now-a-days as it is. The last thing I need is another job to take up more of my time.

I hear ya. I use an electric Black&Decker edger - cheap & works great and I don't do enough to justify the gas powered version.

My current electric edger sucks ass. So I use my current electric trimmer that can be turned to trim and it has a sidewalk guide on it. Does a great job, but I am trying to do away with electric cords completely. :D

Al- Depending on how much edging you have, I might suggest one of those quick-change deals. I have an newer gas edger from Craftsman that works great for a lot of edging but at my most recent house I got one of those change-a-tool deals and I can whip and edge in no time.
BTW- I first bought one of those two-cycle deals from Home Depot, made by Troy bilt. Major POS. Stay away from that one.

If I don't find a good deal on seperate items I will likely go the route you're suggesting. I have been finding a few nice quick-chage units online.

I bought a gas-powered Toro straight shaft trimmer, the blower attachment, and also the edger attachment. :D
I tried all three when I got home and I like 'em. :D
Thanks, folks.
