Thursdays - M-59 and US-23 Meets 8:00 PM

Last thursday was our first meet and we had a great turn out. It was quite the diverse crowd too which is something we were shooting for. We had everything from Honda Civics, to Cobras, to built Trans Ams, to SRT-4's. It was great!!

So now I extend my welcome to all of you on MM. We meet at the autozone at US-23 and M-59 which is just east of exit 67 off of 23. We hang out, eat pizza, and cruise around. This is not just a park your car and sit there type of thing. We actually go and cruise around. Plus, we've got permission from cops to be in the parking lot so we won't get in trouble for loitering or anything like on WW. So please next week come on out and join the fun!!

I'm really trying to diversify it though. Marcus is only posting on XS so I'm trying to cover all of the other local forums to make it less rice although last night wasn't too bad at all. A lot of nice cars and I'd say 50% of them were V8's believe it or not. And even the other 50% there were maybe only a few I'd consider rice.

Supposedely the General Manager of Autozone knew nothing about it although we had permission from the store's manager. Racing had nothing to do with it, infact the cop said he watched us race and didn't care.

if you think constantly racing up and down the same area, right in front of where everyone is hanging out, isn't going to result is problems, i've got a bridge to sell you. you don't look like you're that young, so i would think you'd know better. i've been in this "hobby" for 17 years now, and i know exactly how this will go down. just because one cop doesn't mind, doesn't mean local residents won't make a big deal about it.

just a warning for ya. i don't feel like getting a loitering ticket because you guys can't drive the extra 1/2 mile up the road to get on US23. :rolleyes:

Well we will have an updated location sometime before Thursday. And yeah, no more racing. I was one of them that did do it and it was my mistake. I came around the corner thinking we were going to cruise down the road and all of a sudden the guy was counting off "1,2,3" and I just hit the gas at 3. My bad...
