Hey guys,
We are set to open no later then the the 25th...possibly even next week. We want to get a cruise night set up, but need to pick a day. We know there are quite a few already set up around the area and we'd rather not conflict with them for obvious reasons. I'm posting up this poll to choose the best day.
Please pick a day and if you have comments post them as well. For example, Sundays wouldn't be good because Wild Woodys already does a cruise in, etc. Thanks and I look forward to seeing some bad ass cars this summer!

Alright, I'm starting to see a trend here....lol!
100 dollar question----why is no one else doing a show on Saturdays then? Or is someone? Seems like a lot of interest in that day....

Berkley A&W does Saturday night. Not saying that means you shouldn't, just pointing out that someone does since you said no one did.

There are lots of smaller cruise nights here and there during the week. I know of about 3 different ones on Wed night. Sat would not be bad but will be hit & miss in the summer with weddings, graduations, etc. People are busy this time of year. But if we get this started and it draws you more cars that have fun, I think you will have a loyal following.

I think Saturday night would not be a good idea. Harper is a main roadway. Cops up and down it all day and night. Punk kids will kill it for the rest of us.

I was really into the idea of doing Tuesday nights since Pampa threw in the towell........
Too bad about Sundays----I like that day too, but I don't want to compete with Woodys nor would I.
Keep em coming guys...thanks!

Saturday is a terrible idea, business-wise anyway. Most people will have other plans on Saturday nights/afternoons/mornings.
Your best bet is too look around your area and see what your competition is doing and on what days. Then take the day where no one is doing anything, and make that day yours. As your show grows, more people will want to come to your place. Once that happens you can choose any day you want and people will likely continue to come.

I actually voted Tuesday because I couldn't think of anything else already going on car wise on Tuesday nights. I know of a few on Wednesdays, one on Thursdays, Saturdays and Saturdays and the obvious ones on Sundays. Fridays like Saturdays are nights people frequently have lots of stuff going on. Mondays are just lame,

Thursday Night - Thursday has been the unofficial 4th day of the weekend!
Where is this bar / restaurant located?

Completely agree! Also why I came on here with a poll. I don't know where all of the shows are nor have time to research it right now. From what I've found out so far, Art and Jakes has a show on Mondays, Wooley Bulleys on Wed, some bar on Grosbeck for Thursday and Continental on Fridays.
Apparently, Shields is doing a show on Tuesdays, but I don't think they will impact us much over in St. Clair Shores (9 1/2 mile and Harper) not to mention they have a little different crowd there.
I'm really liking Tuesdays, but we'll see. Keep em coming.

Well according to some people on this site, your side is the BESTSIDE. But, sounds like that's just a misconception based on your feedback :D

What time frame are we looking at? If it's early enough on Saturday it could work...say from like 2-6? Otherwise you're competing with woodward and gratiot...and thats a tough one!
I voted for Thursday.
Good luck Sean.

when I think of the area they call "bestside" Im thinking of like Plymouth, Canton, Farmington... NOT way the hell out in AA. Their are benefits to living out here, like being close to Milan for example, thats like a 15 minute drive from my house, but Im way more of a cruise than track guy.

Did you guys open yet? I drove buy and it looked pretty good.
It should be cool if you can get open before the 4th of July...

Thanks man! I haven't "Officially" posted anything because of all of the little loopholes/delays we've experienced. I will be making an official post very soon, but at this point, we're looking at opening by 9:00pm Monday. That is barring any further delays or red tape. We've been approved for everything and our package from the LCC should be to our lawyer today/tomorrow. We're 99% there at this point. I just don't want to post up info that I'm not 100% sure of.
Thanks for the support!

The cruise nights will be on Tuesdays. They haven't begun yet----thinking 2-3 weeks.......
I will post a new thread announcing the official start very soon. Do you guys know if most places advertise their cruise nights? For example, does Wild Woodies? Cruise news, etc??? Thanks!
