Well, we "almost" won again. Kinda kicking myself over the ones I let by. :shake: But, I did almost see an all out brawl between a few of our team members. Not great for our reputation - but it seemed to light a fire under a few peoples' bums. I'm convinced if they wouldn't have invited their upper level ringers, we woulda had 'em this time. Oh well, next one. We're getting better... :)

Definitely. We played a good game and they needed help to beat us. But just like last week it was only by 1 pt. I am not happy about the poor sportsmanship though. I talked to a few of their guys afterwards and they admitted they had some hotheads on their team. The other guys were really cool. Just those few that were a pain in the rear. Oh well. Let's keep it civil and just play & have fun. They is why we are there.

Um lets see. These were the guys we played last week and the game got ROUGH! Well first game of this new session was against the same guys. Now most of their team is cool and layed back. But there are 3-4 dudes that are pricks.

One guy apparently was roughing up Caryn and Reiko put him into the wall and got ejected for that move.

One guy kept tangling up with Ryan and when Ryan started to go down he grabbed on and took the guy with him. Looked like a rolling tackle. :lol: The dude seemed ok but then all the sudden flipped his lid and was ejected from the game.

Their goalie seemed to hate me cause I collided shins with another guy on their team and he was yelling at me for purposely doing it. I think he was still pissed cause I lost my footing last week and it turned into a slide tackle that took him out. ;)

All in all it got WAY too heated between the two teams for a 'for fun' league. Everyone kept saying relax and just play soccer. But it did not seem to stay that way. I talked to a few of their guys after the game and they admitted some of those guys are hotheads. I wonder how long until Total Soccer tells those hotheads to not come back anymore. We just gotta keep our cool and have fun. We had them for most of the game. Just towards the end when they brought in help and all the craziness started. It was almost like hockey & indoor soccer. Almost ended up with a bench clearing brawl and only 1 ref to control it. :eek:

Yeah I suppose. I'm sure it would have been best to just leave it alone, but it was getting a little ridiculous. Every time I would beat him and get on the other side he would pull me down by my shirt. The last time I figured he was coming with me. He hopped up pretty quick like he was going to do something about it but didn't get loud until he had a few people "holding him back" while I just stood there waiting.

I don't think him and the other kid are even really on their team, I think they just showed up to watch and then they needed the help. If they come back they'll surely be watched a little closer. It's really no different when we have Tony come play with us, but Tony is a lot less of a fuck.

I think had the one sub that showed up for us that played on their side scored most of their goals. Had he not played on their team or not played I think it would have been a totally different game. But thats just my opinion.

Haha I knoww... I'm only kidding! It kinda sucks cause co-ed is so ruthless.. people don't know what their doing and more people tend to get hurt. Thats why alot of people refuse to play, especially in our league.

Makes sense. The part that's surprising to me is, people don't really seem to care if they run someone over. Like when you went down, the dude didn't even offer to help you up. I mean, I almost ran right over that girl that struggled to be 5 feet tall....but I at least made an effort to keep her on her feet. Then, the ref has the nerve to give me lip like I'm playing too aggressive.
