Anyone looking for a place to hang out we have a large lot with lots of things going on for the gratiot cruise sunday august 24th from 10 am to 6pm. our $5 spaces are filling up fast so those interested please contact me immediately for availability as it would be great to see alot of motown people out there.

Is this the one that is like 21 to 23 or 24 mile? I hit it a few years ago and it was pretty fun.

Any spaces left? I would like to plan to make it but can't say for sure at the moment. It will depend on the weather too. Although it did rain a few years ago when I was at this cruise the last time. :lol:

We will be up there with a few vehicles. We plan on grilling up some food, and possibly playing ladder golf on the lawn.

we do have a few spaces left. we are only asking for those interested to give us a heads up so we can plan to make it a good day for everyone. if you can't make it last minute or the weather happens to turn bad it's going to be understandable.

so come on guys. send me or eric a pm and let us know if your coming out so we can get the things we need in time to make it fun for everyone.

well we almost have a full lot and this lot is rather large so this is great. we do have some extra areas to spill over in the event that we need to but please get ahold of us asap. We understand the cruise isn't as large as woodward but you guys come out for woodward in droves and pay for it. we're offering the same fun for free.

we are now up to 5 companies in the area to keep things going as well as the shoots throughout the day can't wait. those that have emailed i have some more info coming back to you shortly..

Also originally the north gratiot cruise was put on by the motorcitystreetrodders.com

a group that i use to be personally envolved with back in the day. this cruise is used to raise money for the chesterfield K-9 police department among a few others and is pretty much 100% all for charity. We will be donating any extra proceeds above the covered costs to this cause and a few others so please come out and support. we've gotten quite a few guys from motown who want to come out but we really should have more so let us know today.

Cars, Bikes, Trucks... even offroad vehicles they are all welcome. see you sunday.

Yeah, he ended up taking his car back, lot was pretty full.

i'm sorry guys about not being able to hang out things were very hectic all day long. we had overall 12 shoots lined up from 10 am to 4pm throughout the day with 14 different models running back and forth between victory racing and the lot all day long to make sure everything was under control. we didn't get out of there til 9pm. i did have the car out for a short time but the lot was so busy i put both my cars in back to make room for other people. no point in being selfish specially since i couldn't hang out with everyone.

Joe i'm glad you had a good time, we definately could not have done it without the help of eric and the team at victory racing as they really went above and beyond to make it all happen for everyone i was just the middle man trying to lend a hand. Victory Racing is responsible for finding the lot and making sure things went as smoothly as possible.

James glad you had a good time and that your uncle got to come out. when we get the pics i'll let you know.

check out the folder 8 24 over at www.myspace.com/empireseven to see pictures as we get them from the photographers. we want to shoot everyone's car but there just isn't enough time in the day which is why we tried to let everyone know here well in advance what we were doing so that if they were interested it could have happened.

for everyone that came out thank you very much for the support as we all had a great time. the lot filled faster then we could have imagined which was good, just means we need the larger one across the street next year.

I'm usually not a big fan of the old school look on late model vehicles, but that white walled s-10 is pretty sharp. Nice photos guys:)
