Ok my cousin is building a 66 mustang with a turbo'd 302 but wants it carb'd. Will a 650cfm work for about 400-450ish hp or should we step?

Any recomendations

Dom

im no genius but id have to say a 750 would be a good choice. with a power adder motor having too much fuel on hand is better than having not enough...

one option you have also is to get the vortech mondo box. what it does is completely encloses the carb and it creates its own atmosphere and you dont need a blow thru carb for that application

Pro Systems

Patrick isn't that big into blow thru's compared to C&S I thought???

Don't get me wrong, I have a Pro Systems sominator on my junk, but I thought C&S was better at the blow thru's.

I really am not too sure.

a 650 will work perfect. for all the info on blow thru or any other turbo stuff you could ever want to know check out theturboforums.com look up a guy named blownshovel I bought my carb from him for an awesome price and it works great. If you really want to do it your self check some of the stickies in the carb and diy sections.

c&s and csu are both awesome carb companies well known for their blow thru carbs. I have also heard lots of good about pro systems.
