I'm stumbling around and can't seem to find anything that lays it out. best I could find so far was:

Some of the best benefits are those associated with racing and sponsor discounts. In years past, we've done 4 races a season. We've got 1 in this year, another next Saturday, and I think we might try to squeeze one later this month if the weather holds.

The other main benifit is sponsor discounts. Club members get discounted rates with them and they often offer deals to club members.

Well, since my question was prompted by the information apparently not being posted out there anywhere, I think PMing would kind of defeat the purpose.

Nothing related to the functionality of the board itself for Members?

Yeah, there are benifits for the board as well. Larger avatar, a sig, and access to some forums that are limited to guests.


This is a good suggestion. I'll have to put something together.

Those aren't bad things by any means, but some of them are mostly show and not go. I was thinking more along the lines of functional stuff, such as deleting your own threads, editing thread titles, reduction or elimination of the 30-second post restriction, higher PM limit, etc?

I don't see all these things on any one site I'm on, but I do see them granted here and there with paid memberships.

Perhaps all of these benefits could be explained in the FAQ and signup pages. :)

Nonsense - you have the bully pulpit of an elected official. Lobby, on our behalf to the resident admins and html gurus. :smoke:
