Why people should stop at red lights...

last week I was making a left hand turn and a woman driving a new suburban ran a red light and hit me doing around 50mph...

Im fine, just bruised up a lil bit. but my truck... not so much.

just pisses me off... I had a lot into this truck and only had about 1000 miles on it since I put it back together. I hadn't driven it in weeks but it was a nice afternoon so I thought id take it for a quick spin before she went away for the year for major changes...

time for a fresh start i guess...

nah.. I was making a left hand turn, and she came through the intersection and plowed me

my truck ended up 20ft directly back from where she hit me and I was facing the opposite way

insurance gave me 3,000... I never got a chance to have it appraised. Ill know better on the next one.

Glad to hear you're ok. If that were my truck I would have put 2 in head her head at the scene for that shit. I have had so many close calls with people being dumb like that.

I was questioning frame damage until I saw the roof buckled some. So it's almost definitely bent. What are your plans for a new project? Another Dime?

yeah the frame is bent... luckly (for impact reasons) i was riding real low and she actually went over my frame... jacked alot more sheetmetal up but it observed the impact more rather then if it was frame to frame

Im looking for basically any 2wd pickup or suv... I kinda wanna do a 4 door blazer, but im also looking at some 2 door tahoes that are in Texas.

Im flying down there soon to visit family, so I may just buy a ride there and drive it back lol

yes insurance sucks... if i had gotten it appraised though I wouldve easily gotten around 5-6k for it

itd never sell for that much, custom trucks never sell for what theyre worth, but thats how much i SHOULD of got... my fault though. I know better now
