Flow testing Direct port systems?

Ive never messed with direct port systems (just single nozzle) yet and am going to setup a system in the next few weeks on an intake manifold for a buddy. Ive heard of some of you ballers getting it flow tested for ideal quality of flow at every nozzle but am not sure when this becomes a necessity. Is it only HUUGE power or is it only if you want that extra 3hp out of a system?

unless your spraying 600 i wouldnt worry about it.
