Was there any Bush appointee who actually succeeded at the job he or she was given?

seriously, I beleive that she's a bit biased.
I worked for a class three medical device company. class three is the highest level as far as possible damage to life. things like pacemakers and medicines and nuclear medicine. We had to have very intimate knowledge of osha and the fda. The changes made to those programs are few and far between. she didn't say that the weren't still doing inspections, just not making changes to the current rules.
Is the guy a tool? maybe. is she making a mountain out of a mole hill absolutely!

Haha that's the understatement of the century. These idiots think Obama is going to be different than every other president and it's just a sad joke that they will be the butt of for a long time (just like the mindless Bush people were the butt of the joke for a long while).
I'm scared of anybody that thinks either party is doing a good job. They are both terrible and a big change is needed or the USA is going to soon (50-100 years) suffer the same fate of the rest of the great nations in history (which is to ultimately fail).

It's MSNBC reporting from an article out of the Washington Post. joke/joke you get can't get much more bias than that.
86% fewer rules and regulations, this doesn't mean they were doing less work, it mean they didn't make any more RULES, plain and simple.
Foulke sleeping? maybe the guy has sleep-apnia

I understood it as a attorney, who is Very Familiar with rules & regulations of OSHA to be appointed to head the department. Excellent choice! He actually appointed someone with in depth knowledge from both the governments position and industries position.
She's a little unclear on what 86% less. I assume she means 86% less infractions or citations, which I assume means they make the company correct the infraction without a citation and fine, or companies are doing a much better job of complying.
She makes it sound like OSHA has relaxed their rules. No way possible. OSHA regulations are law. There are not 86% reductions in OSHA laws.
Sleeping on the job? Definitely sounds like sleep apnea, which is no laughing matter(even though she makes jokes and laughs about it.) Sleep is not voluntary. Not everyone goes to sleep when they want to. No one can go forever with out sleep. You will fall asleep if your awake long enough. She's an idiot to make implications.

you guys crack me up... letting facts and logic run your daily lives.
It's a shame there wasn't more worker safety at the hospital where they dropped you on your head. Slippery floors and all.
