Try some Leatherique Pristine Clean. Break out the toothbrush, it'll take some scrubbing.

I like the NXT shampoo!
Prestine Clean can work - but in a case where the leather has that much old grime, I'd go right to the Leatherique Conditioner and let that stuff sit on a seat overnight first. Then come back with Prestine Clean or diluted Woolite to remove the gunky residue, and you'll have some amazing looking leather.
You could just keep with your diluted woolite and a brush of course. It'll take a bit more work, but it should be able to achieve quite stellar results!
Any idea how to remove road paint? I bought this car and the last owner did not remove the paint when it happened. I tried wd-40 without success.
Thanks,

Oh no!
Sorry to say, but I don't know. I'd think there's a away to do it in a somewhat safe matter. You might even be able to call a local road department and ask them for tips. If you find anything out, please let me know as I'd benefit from the knowledge as well.
I have used a little paint thinner and deluted it with water. It worked for me and didn't do anything to the factory paint.
I used a little paint thiner on a few spots but was worried about it harming the paint. I found a cleaner that is specifically for road paint. I will let you know how it goes.
Thinner shouldn't damage anything because your factory paint isn't lacquer based - it's chemically cured paint. So rest easy in that regard and gl!
I used this stuff called Go Clean Off Clean that is made for road paint removal. Was not cheap at $30/bottle but after letting it sit for 15 minutes the paint started to come off. 2 more applications and it was gone so I am happy with the results.
Much appreciated, and thanks for the feedback.
Try the 3m addhesive remover. Dont rb to hard as rag will leave scratchs. I have used it to remove dried house paint on cars, will need to polish lightly and wax when done.
