You in ignace for the car show? Thought I saw this bug parked in a side lot tonight

I was there 2 weeks ago, maybe the guy is local?? I think my brother is getting married the day of the Dream Cruise, so I might head up there tomorrow or Saturday so I can see some cool car stuff. Ever since my last trip up there I've been trying to figure out how I could move there. I love it!
Saw these up there last year.

Saw them cruising in St. Ignace, but found them parked in Mackinaw City later in the day.
I remember looking for them on instagram and whatnot without any luck. They had a cool crew though, and that truck is awesome! The Bug was really interesting though, too. It looked like it was set up for the track, and there's an intercooler (I think?) hiding up front there.
When I'm up there I usually camp about 30 miles west at Hog Island Forest State Park (I think it's called). Cheap and the views are pretty good.

Nice pictures. Looks like the campground is off of US Highway 2....could pick worse roads to commute to a car event thats for sure.
Also, sometimes I think I could live in the UP. I don't plan to try, but I do love it up there. I've never been up in the winter, though.
I did go to the St. Ignace show, and from there I went to Marquette, Copper Harbor, The Porkys, Ironwood, Menominee, and along the southern coast back to St. Ignace. I'd like to go back to Copper Harbor - I didn't realize there was so much hiking and stuff there. Also Houghton is a cool looking town I'd like to explore more. Was on the road for 6 days. I've never had so many mosquito bites in my life..!

Nice picture. Any others from your adventure? Copper Harbor and the Porcupine Mountains are on the short list for my wife and I. I’m going to wait until I can stay in the area for a solid week or so to maximize exploration.
Yup, plenty of stuff to go through. I also need to go back and spend more time. It was all on a whim to be honest, lol. I really had no idea what I was getting into.
Black Rocks in Marquette is worth a stop, too.

The new truck for this year. Like the beetle, it has a Ford 2.3 turbo. Haha.

That looks like a blast
Here's one of the trucks that was in their crew. I didn't have a whole lot of time or angles as we were at a campground, lol. But I got a few decent shots - which I need to go through still (660 from that day).

That blue truck is sexy as hell.
And black rocks is on the list. It’s along the coast so why not? Damn, Michigan is beautiful. I laugh when people say they didn’t care for Michigan too much, only to hear that they only saw the metro Detroit area.
Do you ever sell the pictures you take? Those nature photos should be in brochures and books about the state.
The blue truck isn't normally what I'm into, but it was beautiful. I should have gotten photos of the wood floor in the bed - it was beautiful. This wasn't even a shop truck. The owner built it himself it turns out, but they all hang together.
Black rocks was really cool, and I'd wholly recommend watching the sun go down there.
I've never really sold any pictures, no. Although I've been getting a lot of inquires recently, so I may start doing just that. I've never been all that confident in what I'm doing, but I think that's beginning to change. I have a lot of those 'brochures' and things from up north and there's an awful lot of crappy photos in them. So why the hell can't I throw my crap into the mix? Haha, thank you though!
I would also recommend climbing Sugarloaf Mountain while in Marquette. I was on the move, otherwise I'd have been there for the sunset.

Best campsite, ever. In Copper Harbor.

I wish I could remember what it was called - brand new, and half the place was still under construction. It was EMPTY compared to all the others, and I can't even find the place on google. Had to drop money in an envelope in the red metal post.
It was great, it was quiet, but mosquitos were BAD.

Trails End Campground!
I still have a bunch of rolls from Mexico City that need to be developed. I have a bunch of rolls in general that need to be developed (probably 50+).
This is where they do the Luche Libre wrestling matches in CDMX.

I like that Belair the more I look at it.
The only thing I know is that I saw it on the roof of Queens Bar in Detroit.
