300 I6 in the f150?
Nice! What year F150?
1996, 300i6 One option automatic, zero rust but its seeing its first winter right now
yep should still look nice in spring ill sell then and go to SC and get another
Wow! That's pretty impressive.
I've always wanted an I6 with a manual.
I had an 87 4x4 with I6 and 4spd manual in high school. I got rid of it with 280k only cause I found a nice price on a 250 diesel. Both were good trucks and went over 300k.
02 f150 5.4 269000 runs great

Just found out a friend has a brand new crate motor sitting Might have to pick it up for the future
Lol, Ford inline 6 will double that without issue, now, your fuel mileage on the other hand..........
Friend had 500k on his when he got tboned in it
Just a update 295k now still purring like a kitten havent done a darn thing to it in 20k Miles except oilchanges and a air filter
I loved my 300 six. I sold mine 3 years ago, 85,000 miles,
auto trans, cold AC, new tires. I wanted $2,950 for it.
The first guy to see it said "but the book price is only
$1,600". I said go & try to find a truck like this for that.
The second guy threw the money at me & was very happy.
(it was a very nice truck).

The reason why american car makers quit inline 6 engines
yep, purrs like a kitten, I fixed the belt squeak and you cant tell its running
Did you post that over on Garage Journal as well?
During cash for clunkers we had one turned in with the straight 6. We drained the oil from it and ran it full throttle for 15min straight it over heated and locked up then we let it cool and it fired back up ran for another 10 before it threw a rod.
