I passed on track rentals this year. I figured there are enough rentals to go around. I'm gonna just enjoy racing my car instead of running around and doing everything that is involved.
Good luck Money. It's kind of a pain if you do it all on your own.
Good piece of advice.Quote:

Nice. If you catch a wednesday T&T at the right day at Milan you have no problems. On another note if you wanted to drive to Mid Michigan you'd never have to wait in line for T&T.Quote:

I NEVER have to wait in line at Milan...........
Just curious, what does it cost to rent out the entire track on a Saturday? I might consider so nobody laughs at my slow turds
Cause you never run your car! :thefingerQuote:

With a privat time she will be much more relaxed, and wil get some good numbers I hope...
I dont know
My dad rents out stanton every year. It is cheaper then Milan and they prep the track real nice.
Yea let us know if its open to others. I love those sat morning milan rentals. Not too far of a drive, nice cool mornings, not too expensive.

I tend to agree. I think having so many rentals last year (between Motown, Varsity, Stenod, CorvetteForum, etc) hurt overall turnout.Quote:

FWIW, I'm thinking of having a separate tune made for club races. If I can pull enough power out to run mid 11's I'll get by the tech folks and have fun collecting points. We'll see.
Just do a cage Phill did... Removeable bars... :icon_biggQuote:

I've thought about it. If I were to get into drag racing I'd need a cage, new seats to accommodate a harness (and I love my existing seats), a trailer (which would need to be very light as all I have is a Trail Blazer to pull it with), a CCW drag pack, etc.Quote:

Tires - $2,500
So basically another $10,000 to play a few times a year at the track. I think that's a bit extravagant.

Not to be a dick but I have to ask this. If you do not want other people to come to your rental then why even announce it here?

Its not a rental for me its for the syty homecoming but I might open it up to 10 or so cars to help cut the cost down because its a Saturday Milan raises the ratesQuote:

You really don't need tires and rims... I thought you had DR's already? And trailer can always rent one... Your Trailblazer can pull that car and trailer without a problem... It's a vette! It's light!
Looks like it's gonna be a great week for my bday :D Track rental on the 23rd leaving for St Ignace on the 26th, partying on my bday on the 27th, cruises and shows in St Ignace the 28th-30th and Pinks All Out on the 30th :D
Awesome. Maybe one day I'll have a car worth making a pass in.
Shit my B-day is 29th and Jen's is 19th... A lot of June Birthdays....Quote:
