Is it me or does it seem like there’s not as much buzz about the show this year than in years past? I just heard that it starts this weekend, yesterday when Biden made a cameo.

Even if we hadn't been kicked out for three hours so a dude could get his photo taken in a Corvette, I could have covered the show in about 2.5-3 hours.

I keep hearing about a 61ft tall rubber duck.
It looks pretty low budget from the pics I have seen too. Not many of the Euro brands even made it, and the ones that did brought really small displays. I thought the January date was fine - it was literally the only thing to do. But now, too much other stuff going on. Other than the Mustang, which is a pretty big deal, not much is being released.

I thought they were supposed to do the show in Late spring
300c 6.4 was unveiled there, and new mustang
I didnt even know it was happening until I heard Biden was in town for it.
What auto show?
Auto show is fucked. Done for. I really don't see how it ever comes back to any kind of prominence because manufacturers would rather just run their own little events where they don't have to compete for attention. More cost effective.
I like the show in January, summers are already too busy.
Glad I've gotten to work on the z06 some at work, but its pretty insulting when he says he loves EV's. We spent a ton of time on the 5.5L and making it the highest HP naturally asperated production V8 ever.
