i think i'll be ok if i speed up the shutter a bit. i'll try it again when im down there today.
i was doing 1/30 and 1/40. the challenger pic was shot with my 28-75, and it was the first one i shot, lol. the rest i popped on my wide angle and polarizer.... i didnt even think to change the settings any.. durr.
Yeah, you might want to look into changing your settings.... Isn't that the best? Firing off like 15 shots, looking down...wtf?!
my LCD is so effing small, and the sun was so bright, and the car was so small at 10mm.... i shot 170 of those so-called "panning" shots, and i got like 3 that were decent. lol.
3/170, those aren't great odds. Do you know the proper way to pan? ;)
yes. :D

Make sure you have your camera set on AI Servo for panning / moving subjects. I find it easier to have 1 focus point set as well to make sure I'm focusing on the right object. If the cruise is thinned out like that you should be able to get alot of nice shots.
I need to upload some more pictures as I've taken a few lately.
I'll make sure it's set to that, Scott. I always use a single AF point though. Heading back out there in a bit.
