GM layoffs
Sounds like the GM layoffs have hit the Motown crew pretty bad today.
I feel like we should do something to help out, so for starters let's use this thread to pass along any jobs you might know that are open. I know two members that were let go were today were mechanical engineers.
If you know of any openings, please share them in this thread.

It sucks to hear this, I left gm Hamtrmck December of 17 just in time. Fca is usually always hiring and with the new Jeep plant coming it won’t be long they will need more people. Good luck

Sucks. I just saw both of them last weekend. Both have young kids at home too.

Yes Tony and I know another guy from Milford.

If anyone is a software dev, QA, or software project manager I think my place has a few openings.
-
My company has a design engineer position available. Gotta be able to pass a CAD test in Catia I believe

I was waiting for a thread about this to pop up. I was let go Monday from Warren Tech. I have a 2 year old at home.
I have 18 years automotive experience, 2 Associates Degrees, and full knowledge of TeamCenter. I appreciate if anyone can let me know of any leads.
Thanks!

Guys. I’m so sorry to hear about you guys being laid off. I meet people all the time in the autoIndustry. Anyone on here that was let go from GM please send your resume to steve.mortgage2012@gmail.com and let me see how many people I can get it in front of.

Roush has a number of positions open. Engineers (mechanical and electrical, solidworks designers, managers of all sorts, drivers, techs, machinists, ect... We're beyond busy, at least the building I work in.
