whatcha got left?
Oh no, you misunderstood. There's MORE than that.
Oh blue jean bike!
So which is the one you had to carry home from work? Sorry, I shouldn't be laughing, but I did get a laugh out of the story.
I took the 3.5 briggs off my blue one tonight so I can test fit the new harbor freight engine. That old briggs was leaking oil pretty badly, boy what a pig.
Like Matt said, blue jean bike. I bought the it for like 25 bucks, and it had been sitting in the shed. It was a Friday night, and me & all my buddies were going somewhere and bring our minibikes (sins of steel maybe?) Anyways, we needed a spare bike for someone so we threw it together in a few hours. I made the seat, and needed something to cover it with, so I cut up an old pair of blue jeans. Hence the name. That bike was the most maintenance free bike I had.

So the new harbor freight engine fits, sort of.... Do they make a low profile gascap?
You can relocate the gas tank. As long as it's above the carb, you won't have any fueling issues. I had a similar issue so my brother found a Honda tank with the cap in a better position. Rotate the puller too so the rope handle is at the back.
My minibike had all the NRracing parts plus the head was milled .050........Had a blast at Milan in the pit area racing friends and kids...it did about 58-60 but you still could flip it over backwards sometimes.......Back then i was up about 4 hot dogs and a cheeseburger...

That's a sweet bike, love the color. Going by the purple, looks to be a Taco?
k so I got the tank off. I guess I'm gonna start the interwebs search for a tank that fits.
Got to thinking after some searching on the web. All the after market add on tanks are pretty over priced.
So I drew up some thoughts/ideas for the stock/factory fuel tank. Then I fabricated up a couple brackets.

I just turned the entire tank around and faced it backwards.

I still have some work to finish on mine, but this is where I left off.
My bikes still at my parents house.
Need to get them home soon!Attachment 81446
We tried a 14cc GX140 head and the compression was way too high to use a recoil starter and broke the OEM Predator recoil. We replaced it with the OEM Honda shroud and recoil off of the GX140 we have

Now the head is hogged out and port matched to the header and intake manifold, heading to Howard's today for bigger jets and higher stall clutch springs. Current springs engage at ~1200RPM, new ones will be 3000RPM, little bastard is gonna fly :D. We swapped the 75 tooth for a 60 tooth as well, now it'll top out at 70-ish at 8,000RPM.

70 mph :eek5:
You guys suck. Now I want a minibike!
70... YIKES!
What risers/handlebars are those?
I restored the front wheel, came out ok I guess, ordered the air cleaner kit with the larger jets.

.
My particular bike is a Monster Moto MMB80, you can get them for $400ish new with a 79cc 2.5 hp engine. Stock, it couldn't get out of it's own way and took a good block or so to hit 20mph. I got it from a friend of mine who bought it for his daughter, but she was scared of it so he gave it to me. Then I bought a Predator and started messing around and now we have this monster. It's a larger bike than your typical Ruttman, tires are 16" high.
Was behind a couple of these on Woodward a few years back and started doing some research. Figured this would be a good way to slow the car mod game down.
Its an 08 Honda Ruckus that's been chopped, dropped and stretched with a fatty rear tire setup. Originally a 49cc, now has a GY6 150cc punched out with a big bore kit to 180cc (4 Stroke). Lots of billet and custom stuff all over. I've got a motorcycle plate on it and have taken it to work a few times. Ride all day with a $5. It'll do 70mph give or take.

That thing is cool! Here are my "mini" bikes.

Fucking rain. Got the bigger jets in the carb and higher stall springs in the clutch and now I want to ride. It was running too lean with the head ported so I had to get bigger jets. Should run like a scalded cat now.
We need some video of that thing in action.
This is prior to the head work, jets, and new gas tank. https://goo.gl/photos/inFsucM8U8KqqHLF6 The rear mount stripped out on the red tank so I grabbed an OEM GX200 tank for it. I'll have more videos soon.
That little mofo sounds mean lol
Some footage of my brother a little bit ago. Fucker rips! https://goo.gl/photos/Z7vHjBKmAZE2BFcA8
lol had to put his hat on backwards.
Mines getting closer to the first start up!

Damn it.... I already have more than that in the one I brought home a couple weeks ago........
