Need help cracking PGP
Anyone?
I made a passphrase in 1998, I haven't used it in over a decade. I know the words, numbers and special characters I just can't remember the exact order, capitalization or if I used spaces or underscores or hyphens between the words.
I'd think it would be relatively easy to crack since I know the words, I know the numbers and I know the one word the special characters.
Any quick (sorta) way to brute force it on windows? (windows is my hangup, I gather this would be a lot easier in Linux)
for example, the password phrase would be something like The_Cure 1989 "F@ascination-Street" or thereabouts.
Just longer, a different band and a few more words.

Try John the Ripper. https://github.com/magnumripper/JohnTheRipper/ or http://www.openwall.com/john/
- README.gpg - PGP Zip / OpenPGP / GnuPG private cracking in JtR
You can also d/l or make a Kali Linux live DVD to boot from, if Windows is all you currently have.

I'll check it out, thanks!

Curious. Did you use what Killjoy posted or did you figure it out on your own eventually? I'm impressed if you used what he posted and got it done in 12 minutes haha
