..........
It looks like Michigan is in their head, though. The fact that they feel a need to issue a reply tells you something.

Lol....it's obvious who the UofM robots are. Yeah, sorry. That video owns UofM, especially because they didn't try something original.

925 football games won. Nothing more to say.
Lol...that part doesn't matter.

So 10-3 last year and winning the Citrus Bowl wasn't relevant?
 I love this. I can smell the fear through my computer with you. Are you just upset the media doesn't even care to learn Mike Dantonio's name? :itsok: Or is it because everyone in this thread combined could score as many points as MSU did in the cotton bowl last year? :haha:
Let's talk relevance anyways. When was MSU's last Nat'l title? 1966?
I love you guys. Always great for a laugh. Act like you're on top of the world when all MSU does is choke.
wow, this must have really stung as the u of m fans are resorting back to the only argument they EVER have. Lets look at the overall record, instead of the relevant record between these school.:icon_roll:icon_roll
What's worst is that the u of m video in the first post, they reference the FAB 5, like they were gods, but correct me if I am wrong, didn't the NCAA STIP the fab 5 of their titles? But lets not dwell in the details, it's the M-F'r Fab 5. :icon_roll:icon_roll
Previously, u of m fans had the excuse that they needed a "michigan man" to be the coach. Well how did that work out? Was that Rich Rod with his 15-22 record or Brady Hoke 31 and 20 record. I forgot which was a "Michigan man" but it's not like I pay to much attention.
The hilarious part of this whole thing is that u of m was sooo damn cocky when it made it's video, and now it has to eat crow. Without admitting its actions were cocky, it changes the entire argument to "past foot ball records". Just like AL BUNDY saying that he once scored 3 touchdowns in a single high school football game. I would have expected more from the u of m fan base, quite pathetic if you ask me.
I think State is just miffed the U of M is getting all the press, even though state has had the better team for the last few years. Like I said, Michigan is in their head.

Overall record? Past records? Where did I mention overall record? I'm talking about the last 10 seasons as you mentioned pumpkin. I'm talking that choke job against Alabama last season. I'm talking MIKE Dantonio era. What post did you read? Then it's aw shit I can't keep up with the convo so I better switch sports bring up the fab five! :haha:
I love how you guys obsess over Michigan and what we're doing or not doing instead of worrying about how your own program just cant manage to win when it matters.
Hey you said it yourself, let's talk about the right now. What's more current than the last game each team played?

UM today won where it mattered at this point in the season taking a solid 4* recruit (which would have been the top rated member of MSU's class) and stole him from the fighting Dantoni's.
Poor Sparties.

I don't pay attention to college football a ton, but I catch a few games and listen to the chatter. I think U of M is ready to start coming back in a big way, that's more about what that video is about. State has been doing well lately but I think that was partially responsible to U of M doing bad. They saw and opening and capitalized on it in a good way.
Michigan dumped by 5-star recruit after calling him 'second level player'

what about the last game they played against each other?

That's all they have to hang their hat on. Last season was the luck of the Irish and it showed when it came time to put up or shut up. Meanwhile the team many predicted to be lucky to break 7 wins win 10 including beating the sec division champion and holding that team to less points than bama did. Everyone except for the fanbase established in 2008 at sparty u realized the Spartans didn't belong there and it showed. I'll take my win in a realistic setting than an ass beating on lofty hopes and dreams.

The fear among Spartans of this upcoming year is palpable. Prepare to see their donations take a slide this year just like the fair weather fanbase they are.

You guys are funny. You have a great sense of humor. 'Smell the Fear'...LOL! I'm not dumb enough to think the Fighting Walmarts won't win a game or two, but I doubt it will be this year. I always said the Weasels best shot at a win would be 2017 in Ann Arbor. They also have OSU at home. MSU and OSU are not caving in to the Harbaugh Bull Shit. I'm also thinking PSU be getting stronger. I think 2017 is Michigan's to lose. And Peppers will be gone after 2017.
The MSU/OSU game still decides the B1G Championship. Another UM QB gets buried in the backfield in East Lansing!
Really..... no comparison in the quality of those videos.....
The step back will be 2017. This year is packed with experienced players. Granted a lot will still happen, but I wouldn't be surprised with a 9 or 10 win season in 2017. Things will become more stable and reload with talent after then as Harbaughs recruiting will fill the roster. This is Hoke's recruits and likely one of his best classes if not his best class that are playing their last year this year.
I think the defenses are similar. I think MSU's line and linebackers are better than UM's and while UM may have a better secondary, MSU will have a lot back from injury. I'm not looking at O'Conner as a difference maker, just someone who'll be able to manage the offense. Both teams look similar. But MSU has both UM and OSU at home and that will be the difference. UM also plays in Columbus. I don't think UM beats either.

East Lansing – Michigan State will be good at linebacker this season. That is not exactly a revelation for anyone who follows the Big Ten.
But what is revealed about the group that will be the heart of what figures to be another solid Michigan State defense is the fact the linebackers might also be the deepest unit on the team. The secondary has seven players who started at some point in their careers and the Spartans have three tailbacks who could be No. 1s in most Big Ten offenses.
The linebackers, however, are impressive – and there are a lot of them.
“We have an extremely talented linebacker situation,” coach Mark Dantonio said this week.
It’s easy to agree when you take a glance at the depth chart and realize one of the group’s most talented players is not yet officially on the roster. That would be outside linebacker Ed Davis, who is expected to complete one final class this summer to earn his degree and get a sixth year of eligibility.
Davis missed all of last season after injuring his knee in preseason camp. He was coming off a junior season in which he had seven sacks and was a preseason first-team All-Big Ten pick for 2015, while also making the Bednarik Award watch list for the top defensive player in the country.
His return should provide a spark for the Spartans.
“I think it means a lot (to get Ed back),” said starting middle linebacker Riley Bullough, a fifth-year senior. “Ed is a great athlete, extremely physical – all the things you want in a linebacker. To have him back would help our defense out a lot.”
He’ll have some competition to get back on the field, however. With Davis out last season, Jon Reschke made the most of his move to the strong side and started all 14 games while being named All-Big Ten honorable mention. Now a junior, Reschke had 75 tackles in 2015, including 5.5 for loss.
On the weak side, both Chris Frey and Andrew Dowell saw significant playing time with Frey proving he had a knack for the big play. He had four tackles in the win over Oregon and recorded a sack in the final minute that helped seal the win.
Frey, now a junior, will battle with the sophomore Dowell as both should see significant playing time.
Junior Shane Jones is solid as the No. 2 middle linebacker while sophomore Byron Bullough is pushing for time there, as well.
“We could go two-deep in there and every one of them could be considered starters,” Dantonio said. “We have what I consider five starters. Shane Jones is another guy I think can start. Byron Bullough is another guy that had an outstanding spring. … Joe Bachie is an incoming freshman and Tyriq Thompson is a redshirt freshman and was a high-quality guy coming out of high school and we have great expectations for him.
“So we have quite a few guys that we think will be able to play in there and gain experience.”
There’s little doubt Riley Bullough is the ring-leader, however. The brother of Byron and Max, who is now in the NFL, Riley Bullough had 106 tackles last season while earning second-team All-Big Ten honors.
He enters 2016 on the watch lists for the Bednarik Award, Butkus Award (top linebacker), Lott IMPACT Trophy and the Nagurski Trophy (top defensive player).
But Bullough believes the competition in the linebacker room is vital to the success of Michigan State’s defense.
“It’s a battle every day for the guys trying to go from fourth and third string to second string or whatever it is,” Bullough said. “It’s a battle every day. There’s always guys constantly chasing you and trying to take your spot. That has helped us in the past.”
It figures to once again.
SPARTAN LINEBACKERS
Michigan State’s preseason depth chart at linebacker (does not include freshmen who did not participate in spring practices):
STAR – 1. Andrew Dowell, 2. T.J. Harrell, 3. Sean Harrington
MIKE – 1. Riley Bullough, 2. Shane Jones, 3. Byron Bullough, 4. Joe Bachie
SAM – 1. Jon Reschke, 2. Chris Frey, 3. Tyriq Thompson, 4. Ed Davis
So Ed Davis is 24, maybe 25 years old?
If MSU doesn't figure out what a secondary is they are in for a long season. The line is the most important spot on the field on defense and there's no question that Michigan has far more talent there. If the linebackers perform decently this year Michigan's defense will easily be number 1 in the nation. They weren't too far off last year after taking injuries on the line and having cardboard cutouts for their linebackers.
LMFAO! Im so happy you made this thread running your mouth! Its going to provide comedy all season long!!!
