im chaging the clutch in the 2007 gt so i took the flywheel and got it resurfaced but a friend of mine said that you cant refurface them because it wont adjust enough on its own when you bleed the clutch, is this true? dealing with this hyd clutch shit is new to me wish they would have just left them cable driven lol

I did a clutch on a 2008 and had the flywheel resurfaced. The clutch operated fine.

The one guy learned how to drive stick in his 08. He slipped the clutch constantly to hold the car in place. Takes off at 2k RPM
The other guy blew his up on the track. We installed some FMS cams and tuned it. He did a 4k RPM launch and blew it up. Parts of the disc were falling out as we pulled the trans away from the engine.
How much is being taken off? What will be the new tolerance gap?

Make sure you clean up all the crap inside the bell housing and lube all contact points. Clean the clutch contact surfaces with brake parts cleaner. Most clutch kits will give you special lube for the clutch
splines.... use it.
Check your block alignment pins... they should be in your block, not your bell housing. Small application of grease here helps. Good time to change the transmission lube.
