That is pretty cool. Folds out of the way to save space. But I always have crap on the workbench so it would rarely be put away......
I would also add a smooth work surface to actually work on. That metal is not gonna be very useful when actually working on stuff.
That is pretty sweet....:rockwoot: except I prefer to keep mine on my truck! Wonder if the neighbors will notice theirs missing:dontknow:?
He uses it to sit on in his apartment - bachelors :haha:
I've seen a nice pearl white tailgate on a Explorer at Groesbeck/Metro Parkway :secret:
That is awsome. I have an old tailgate from I truck I used to own and never found what I wanted to do with it! I always thought table but now I think that would be great.
I'll need to find some good pieces to use at the pivot some new lock pieces and straps for an 1979 f-150!
That would be perfect in a garage. Just don't try it with a Toyota tailgate.
Fat chick+Toyota tailgate=bad news
In the garage or I might put it in my basement bar! Fold away seating!
SWEET!!!
I've always wanted to furnish my basement room using nothing but car parts, using tailgates as shelves. I already have the engine table/lamps. I think the front couple feet of a car could make a sweet entertainment center, make the grill fold down for access to the DVD player, receiver, etc. that sat behind it, and sitting behind the grill would still allow remotes to work on them. Car seats for chairs, etc.
Good idea.Thats pretty cool .
Let me know if you are looking for any components in particular. My dad owns a junkyard in NY and if something comes in with seats you want or a grille you want I can try to have it set aside for you. And if it fits in my truck bring it back when I go to visit the family. If not, it makes for a good weekend roadtrip.
That is pretty cool.
+1  for toyota tailgate
Nick
that gets some sort of redneck award for sure
