I actually had the chance to hang out with him about ten years ago at AAR. Took us on a shop tour, showed us all kinds of stuff including drones they were building for the government, then we went to lunch. Super nice guy in addition to probably being the overall greatest American driver.
I sent him my engine intake manifold cover to sign a few months ago. I'd imagine it's the only thing he ever touched on a 2017. Took it down to the show and put it on the show car yesterday. I think they really killed that as a tribute car to his 67 winner.
