PSA: Mobil 1 oil rebate

Mobil's "Mobil 1" annual oil rebate program is back (Apr 1st - Sep 30th, 2019):

Key points: $12 rebate back for every 5 quarts of Mobil 1 purchased, 4 rebates per household, Amazon purchases not eligible (Walmart not listed as an official "participating retailer" either but Mobil's rebates have always worked in the past - YMMV).


Sloppy math: Purchase a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 at your local Walmart for $22.88 (purchase 4 of 'em to max out, $22.88 x 4 = $91.52 , not including taxes of course), the rebate knocks off $48 (4 x $12) so your total ($91.52 - $48) comes out to $43.52 for the 4 jugs or 20 quarts.

Keep in mind I am referring to the large 5 quart jugs of Mobil 1, not the 4 quart / GALLON sized jugs that are also out there on retailer shelves.


So, after all of the above/rebate it breaks down even further to:

$10.88 per 5 quart jug

$2.17 per quart

Pretty damn tough to beat that price per quart of Mobil 1...the end. :)

TTT in case peeps forgot about this back in the spring; still got a couple months or so left until the end of Sep 2019. I already received my $48 rebate (I bought 4 of the five-jug containers; they accepted Walmart receipts FWIW).
