    Default Engine compartment

    Wondering if anyone knows of a place or person who does body work Ive been seeing mustangs with all the holes filled and smooth in the engine compartment in pictures.

    Team Z will do that, but I think it's about 2k worth of work. LOTS of hours in welding all of those holes and grinding them down.

    The you need to skin coat w/bondo, sand, primer, sand, paint....

    I'd rather blow that kind of coin going fast!

    it really costs 2k to weld them up? sheeeiittttttt

    i believe you can goto 50resto.com and get their overlays that you rivet over the fenders and basically hides the fender skirts

    I could be off on my prices but I do believe that was about the total when I asked Dave @ Team Z about welding the holes, cutting out the fender area, and welding in panels.

    Maybe he can comment more accurately.

    But I do recall my next thought was yeah, forget that unless I hit the lotto..

    Its a lot more work than just welding. Its will take at least 40 hrs to do it right. So 2k dont sound that bad.

    X2, we just did one hear at the shop, Its a Lot of work. I Dont know how to post pics or i would... lol
