Looking to put a cage in my fox this winter. What is the going rate for a 10 pt cm cage installed or to 25.5 my car?

Figure about $100+/- a point. Add in more if your options include paint, interior work etc.

A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.

With minitubs and such it could get over 10K. Good work isn't cheap.

I had quotes from $4k-$6k for full 25.5 and since I already had a legal 8.50 certified cage the quote was $2500-$3k.

You guys are all wrong. I just got a 8 point m.s. cage installed in my fox and he also removed the rear end and bolted and welded in my upped & lower torque box plates and he made and welded seat brackets .......$800 and he supplied the cage and installed the seats with the new brackets and reinstalled the rear end and set the pinion angle. Ya i know c.m. would have been more but not much. You can not see the cage from the side of the car just like i wanted... I`m super happy and you just can`t beat the price. I found him on this web site and he lives in Belville and is a super nice guy..His user name is bad466 734-218-1781. Jay
