    matt I would get a bump steer kit regardless, though your logic isn't wrong the bumpsteer kit will most assuredly fix the issue and is recommended when you do the K member that drops the rack in a fox.

    Offset rack bushing will help also.

    i think the offset rack bushings are to clear the rack input shaft to k member clearance issues. I may be wrong.

    they can fudge a rack enough to help a bit on bumpsteer. Depends on how bad it is.sometimes you might want to go both ways. A bit here a bit there.
