    I usually run about 11 in mine.

    wow you guys serious? I have always said the exact opposite --- you need a wrinkle wall to absorb a violent driveline (manual) to hook without wheel hopping. With an automatic you have a stall converter to absorb that shock smooth its power distribution.

    Just look at what ryan did with his stiff wall nittos / 6 speed combo this past saturday.

    Heavy cars on the other hand i can agree with.

    i have stiff walls on my mustang with a auto..worked real good on the street and at the track..10lbs in the tires..

    those are street tires. stiff and street tires are two diff things. even real drag radial(et street radials and BFG's) will wrinkle but not like a bias ply.
    10.5s are still wrinkle walls just stiffer than normal bias ply's
    these are stiff 10.5's on my car
